Foreman Bros. Inc. is a family owned and operated company providing transportation and networking solutions to the United States Postal Service. We have been providing prompt on-time delivery service for over 58 years and have been awarded multiple Eagle Spirit Awards for our efforts. Our equipment maintenance facility and offices are located in Detroit, MI. Our fleet consists of 66 power units and 86 trailers.
Foreman Bros. Inc., was co-founded by four brothers in 1951 whose hard work ethics and entrepreneurial spirit has survived into the third generation. Larry Foreman, son of co-founder Clinton Foreman (deceased), is semi-retired but still plays an active role as advisor and consultant. Jill Farris, daughter of co-founder Dale Foreman (retired), is actively involved on a full-time basis as financial manager, contract manager and as a Board Member with the National Star Route Mail Contractors Association.
Third generation members of our staff include Tim and Jason Foreman who together oversee operations and management of drivers. Sara & Dani Tubbs manage accounts payables and human resources. Mary Eccles assists in data entry for fuel reporting and accounts receivables.
As a United States Postal Service contractor our drivers must be screened through the Postal Inspection Service. This means finger-print and background checks along with all DOT requirements for CDL’s. Our operations are 24/7 and drivers are normally given assigned routes. Relay, or slip-seat routes are utilized on our longer runs to reduce the need for overnight stays. Routes that are changed by the Postal Service or are acquired during the year are put up “for bid” each Spring and seniority rules on the process. We currently employ four diesel mechanics and one trailer mechanic. If you are interested in employment with Foreman Bros. Inc., please click here.
